Description

Folios: 354v-355. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Ranulf, son of Jordan de Brackenbercg [Brackenborough].

Second party: Odo Galle.

Place or subject: The gift of land which Jordan, Ranulf's father, made to him and his heirs in the territory of Salfleteb' [Saltfleetby], namely acres of land and one and a half perches, the whole of the toft and croft where Reginald son of Grunkell died, which lie between the land formerly of Walter Galle and the land of Gilbert son of Alan, just as the charter of the Ranulf's father bears witness.
