Description

Folio: 352v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Robert, son of Walter at the church of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip, son of Odo Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: One toft and one croft in the same vill lying between the land of Roger son of Walter, Robert's brother, and the land which Alan son of the reeve holds, together with the whole meadow, pasture and arable land and all tenements which Robert had in the vill of Saltfletbi [Saltfleetby] and in its territories with all appurtenances. Fully and entirely without any reservation for 9m 4d, which Philip gave Robert in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs or assigns of the lord the fee freely, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, doing yearly to the lord of the fee the services which pertain to the same lands.
