Description

Folio: 351v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Andrew, son of Hugh Neucumen of Salfledby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: Two selions lying in Salfledby [Saltfleetby], namely on the west side of the house in which Alan Pigghe formerly lived, between Philip's land and the land of William son of Nicholas, whose limits abut towards the north upon Neudikegate and the limits towards the south upon Rennefure, and two other selions lying between Philip and William's lands, whose limits towards the north abut upon the same Renfure, and the limits towards the south upon Philip's land in Suthwra, and two selions lying in a third place, namely in Lagheland between Philip's land on the west side and the land of Gilbert son of Solomon on the east side, the limits of which abut towards the north upon Philip's land and the limits towards the south upon the bank. To hold to Philip and his heirs of Andrew and his heirs in fee and inheritance freely, quietly and peacefully, paying yearly to Andrew and his heirs 1d at the feast of St Botolph for all service and demand.
