Folio: 351. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.
First party: William, son of Nicholas de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip, son of Odo Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: One toft, surrounded by a ditch, in the vill of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby], and it lies next to the messuage of Robert son of William, and it abuts upon le Neudic towards the south, and one croft, surrounded by a ditch, which lies on the north side of William's house and on the north side of this same toft, and between the land of Andrew son of Hugh and the land of Robert son of William. For five marks which Philip gave to William. To hold to Philip and his heirs and assigns with free entry and exit and all appurtenances of William and his heirs freely, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to William and his heirs 1d at Christmas for all services, customs and exactions.
