Description

Folios: 350v-351. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: William, son of Nicholas de Saltfletbi [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip, son of Odo Galle of Saltfletbi [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: One acre of land in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] lying between the land of Robert Pormort on the west side and the land of Andrew son of Hugh on the east side, and the southern limit abuts upon le Neudic, and the northern limit upon William's land. Also the whole land which William had in the south meadows of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] lying between Philip's land on the west side and the land of Andrew son of Hugh on the east side, whose southern limit abuts upon the land of the church of All Saints, and the northern limit upon le Neudic. For one mark which Philip gave to William. To hold to Philip and his heirs and assigns of William and his heirs freely, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to him and his heirs 1d at the feast of St Botolph for all services, suits, customs and exactions.
