Folio: 349v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.
First party: William, son of Nicholas Neucumen of Salfledby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: Three perches of land lying in Salfledbi [Saltfleetby], namely within Suthwra between Philip's land on the west side and the land of Andrew, William's uncle, on the east side, the south limit of which abuts upon Andrew's land, and the north limit upon Philip's ditch. Also, William has quitclaimed to Philip and his heirs the whole of the land which pertains to him or his heirs from the dower of Alice, late wife of Thomas, his uncle, in the same croft on the south side of the ditch, which extends in length from the land of William de Manneby [Manby] towards the east. To hold of William and his heirs in fee and inheritance, freely, quietly and peacefully, paying yearly to William and his heirs one halfpenny at the feast of St Botolph for all services and demands.
