Folio: 349. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Quitclaim.
First party: Hemming and Robert, sons of William Stawelaus, and sons of Avenilda, daughter of Hemming of Salfletebi [Saltfleetby], with the grant and advice of their heirs.
Second party: Odo Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: The whole land which Hemming and Robert held of Odo in the same vill, excepting 4½ acres in Apol to the west, namely the messuage which was of Hemming Sprenting, their grandfather. For two marks which Odo gave to them, and for those 4½ acres from the fee which Odo quitclaimed and by his charter confirmed to Hemming and Robert and to whomsoever they assign them in religion.
