First party: John de Shelford.
Second party: John, earl of Lincoln, constable of Chester [John de Lacy], and Margaret, his wife, whom Hawise de Quyncey [Qunicy], countess of Lincoln, called to warrant.
Place or subject: Four acres of land with appurtenances in Herdwyc [Hardwick]. Whereupon an assize of mort d'ancestor was summoned between them in court, namely that John remitted and quitclaimed, for himself and his heirs, to John and Margaret and her heirs the whole right and claim he had in the whole land with appurtenances forever. For this concord Hawise gave John ten marks.
County: [Lincolnshire].
