Description

Folios: 346v-347. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: William, son of Ralph son of Ingram de Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Master John, son of Odo Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: Two selions of arable land in the territory of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby] lying between the land of Ranulf Russell on the west side and the land which was of Simon son of Avin on the east side. And they abut towards the north upon le Neudicgate and towards the south upon the lands of Osbert Wyer and John, his brother. For a certain sum of money which John gave to William in advance. To hold to John and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, peacefully and honourably in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to the lord of the soke 4d at the terms appointed in the soke for all services, customs and demands.

County: [Lincolnshire].
