Folio: 345. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.
First party: Thomas, son of Gilbert son of Swan of Salfledeb' [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Gilbert, son of William Coleman of Salfledeb' [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: Three acres and twenty-four 'falls' of meadow in Salfledeb' [Saltfleetby] on the south side of Thomas's croft lying next between the land of Solomon the clerk on the east side and the land which was of Andrew Galle on the west side, and abutting towards the south upon the land of the same Gilbert and the land which was of Peter Galle. The grant is made fully and entirely without any reservation for seven marks which Gilbert gave to Thomas. To hold of Thomas and his heirs freely, quietly and in inheritance, paying yearly to Thomas and his heirs 3d at two terms of the year, namely 1½d at each of the feasts of Christmas and St Botolph, for all secular services, customs and demands.
