Folio: 344. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.
First party: John, son of Odo Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: William, John's hayward, and Alice, his wife.
Place or subject: One toft with a certain house built thereon called Rethyscroft, lying in the vill of Salfletby [Saltfleetby] between the land of Herbert Galle on the east side and the land of Adam son of William on the west side, and abutting towards the north upon Neudich and towards the south upon Rethyesdayle. To hold to William and Alice, his wife, during the whole of their lives of John and his heirs freely, quietly, well and in peace, paying yearly to John and his heirs 3s at four terms in the soke of Gayton for all services. After the deaths of William and Alice, the toft is to revert to John or his heirs free and absolute without opposition, and William and Alice are to do all commons pertaining to that toft.
