Folio: 337v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.
First party: Simon, son of William de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: A moiety of 4½ acres of meadow in the same vill lying in Apolcroft, namely the whole of the land with appurtenances which could touch upon a reasonable part of the land that William, Simon's father, held in Apolcroft. The grant is made fully, entirely and without any reservation, for the service which Philip did to Simon. To hold to Philip and his heirs of Simon and his heirs freely, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Simon and his heirs one pair of white gloves at the feast of St Botolph for all services, customs and exactions.
