Place or subject: Three acres of meadow in the territory of Salfledeb' [Saltfleetby] in le Fen lying between the meadow of Walter son of Wygot on the east side and the meadow of Walter [and] Robert, son(s) of Godric, on the west side, and they abut towards the north upon le Aadich and towards the south upon le Aa, fully and entirely without any reservation. For his homage and service. To hold to Simon, his heirs or assigns, except for religious men or Jews, of Henry and his heirs freely, quietly, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Henry and his heirs 3s 4d at the four main terms, namely 10d at each of the feasts of Christmas, Easter, St Botolph and Michaelmas, for all secular services, customs and demands and suits pertaining to the land.
