Description

Folios: 336v-337. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Quitclaim.

First party: Roger de Satheby, Christiana, his wife, Agnes and Eleanor, sisters, daughters of Walter the clerk, son of Robert, son of Ingram de Satheby.

Second party: Master John Galle of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: The whole of their right and claim in the land with appurtenances lying in the west meadows of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] called Wycchecroft, which was once of Reginald, son of Hunguyn of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby], and in one pound of pepper of annual rent, without any reservation. For a certain sum of money which Master John gave to Roger in advance. To hold to John and his heirs of Roger and his heirs freely, quietly and in inheritance, paying 10d yearly to Roger and his heirs at the four terms of the year appointed in the soke of Gayton for all services and exactions.
