Description

Folios: 331v-332. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Walter, son of Andrew de Salfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: One half acre of land lying in the territory of Salfletby [Saltfleetby], namely in the place called Cohucrofte between Philip's land on the east side and the land of Ranulf Pya on the west side, and it abuts towards the south upon le Fleth on the one side and towards the north upon Philip's land on the other side. To hold to Philip and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, well and in peace with all appurtenances without any reservation of Walter and his heirs. For this grant Philip gave to Walter a certain sum of money. Walter has also quitclaimed to Philip and his heirs or assigns 5d of annual rent, which he owed to Walter for the lands and tenements he holds of Walter in the territory of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
