Description

Folios: 331-331v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Walter, son of Andrew de Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: One selion of land in the territory of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby] lying between Philip's land on the east side and Walter's land on the west side. And it abuts towards the south upon Agmar and towards the north upon Philip's land, with all appurtenances. For a certain sum of money which Philip gave to Walter in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, peacefully and honourably, in fee and inheritance. Paying yearly to Walter and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all secular services, suits of courts and demands.
