Description

Folio: 331. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Walter, son of Andrew de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: Two acres of land and one perch with appurtenances in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] lying on the north side of le Flete in one croft called Giselcroft between the land which was formerly of Adam le Vavasur [Vavasour] on the east side and the land which was once of Andrew the priest on the west side, the limits of which abut towards the south from three selions upon le Flete and towards the north from two selions upon Sedike, and from other selions towards the north and towards the south upon Kiskemar, namely whatever Walter had with appurtenances in that place or could have, without any reservation. For one mark which Philip gave to Walter in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely and quietly, in fee and inheritance, paying to Walter and his heirs 1d of silver at Easter for all services, customs, suits of court and demands.
