Description

Folios: 330-330v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: William Simenel of Salfletebi [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Andrew Galle.

Place or subject: The whole land which he had lying between the land of Odo Galle on the west side and the land of Robert Dupping on the east side, and it extends in length from William's croft to le Al, with free entry and exit through the middle of William's croft and toft as far as the royal way. For 30s sterling which Andrew gave to William. To hold to Andrew and his heirs of William, his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, in fee and inheritance, paying 8d yearly to William and his heirs at the four terms for all service and secular exaction.

County: [Lincolnshire].

Additional people: Witnesses: Adam de Grimolbi [Grimoldby]; Walter, his son; Walter de Oxecumbe; Simon son of Avin; Clement son of Angrin; Robert son of Robert; and Gilbert the clerk.
