First party: John, son of Robert de Saufledby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle, son of Odo Galle of Saufledby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: One toft and one croft with all appurtenances in Saufledby [Saltfleetby], namely lying between the land which was of Philip, his brother, on the west side and the land of Adam, his brother, on the east side, the side of which toft abuts upon le Maredik on the south side, and the side of that toft abuts upon the land which was of Ranulf de Brakenberge [Brackenborough] on the north side. For five marks which Philip gave to John in advance. To hold freely, quietly and peacefully, paying yearly to the lord of the fee 3d at the four terms appointed in the soke for all services, customs and demands.
