First party: Hugh the clerk, son of Osbert de Legreste of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: One half acre of land with appurtenances lying next between the land of William, son of Hugh son of Gille on the east side, and the land of William son of Walter on the west side, whose limits abut towards the south upon Philip's land and towards the north upon Hugh's land. For a certain sum of money which Philip gave to Hugh in advance. To hold to Hugh and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Hugh and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all secular services, customs, suits of courts and demands.
