First party: Hugh the clerk, son of Robert de Legreste of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: Half an acre of arable land with appurtenances lying in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] between the land of William son of Walter on the west side and the land of the heirs of William son of Hugh on the east side, and abutting towards the south upon Philip's landand towards the north upon Hugh's toft. Without any reservation. For a certain sum of money which Philip gave to Hugh in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Hugh and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all secular services, customs, suits of courts and demands.
