Description

Folios: 322-322v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: William son of Jeva and John, son of Mole of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Walter de Oxcumbe.

Place or subject: One croft of meadow which was of Robert, son of Osbert, son of Heliric of Saltfletebi [Saltfleetby], lying between the croft which was of Ralph Hancke on the east side and the croft which was of Alexander on the west side, and it abuts upon le Aadic on the south side and upon the land which was of Robert son of Osbert on the north side, with all ditches, ditched around, with all appurtenances, liberties and easements within the vill and outside, with free entry and exit. To hold to Walter and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, fully and entirely without any reservation, paying 3½d yearly to William and his heirs at four terms, namely 1d at each of the feasts of St Botolph, Michaelmas and Christmas, and 0½d at Easter for all services, customs, suits of courts and demands.
