First party: Hugh the clerk, son of Osbert de Legreste of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Gall of the same vill.
Place or subject: Three perches of land with appurtenances lying in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] between the land which Osbert Wyter holds and the land of William son of Walter, the limits of which abut towards the north upon Legereste and towards the south upon Saltergate, namely whatever Hugh had in that place or in any way could have, without any reservation, for half a mark paid in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, honourably, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Hugh and his heirs 1d of at Michaelmas for all secular services, customs, suits of courts and demands.
