First party: William, son of Nicold le Neucomen of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip, son of Odo Galle of Slafletby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: One toft, surrounded by a ditch, which contains three acres of land, in which toft Hugh le Neucumen once lived, and it lies between the land of Andrew le Neucumen on the west side and the land of Robert son of William on the east side. And two selions, containing four acres of land, lying next between the land of Robert Pormort on the west side and the land of Andrew son of Hugh on the east side, and they abut upon Asecroft towards the north. And those said lands abut upon le Neudic towards the south. And five acres and a half, namely the whole of the land which William had, lying in Philip's croft next to the croft in which Alan Picke once lived. And one toft, surrounded by a ditch, which lies next between the toft of Robert Dupping on the west side and the toft of William, son of Robert Dupping, on the east side. And half an acre of land next to Ranulf Pye lying next between the land of Andrew son of Hugh on the east side and Philip's land on the west side. And a moiety of one croft called Orrecroft, and it lies between the land of the church of St Peter on the west side and the land of Ranulf Pye called Munkesdayle on the east side, and all those lands abut upon le Neudic towards the north. And half an acre of land lying next to the land of Andrew son of Hugh on the east side, and abutting upon Andrew's ;and towards the south and upon Asecroft towards the north. And one acre and one perch of land lying in Adlinecroft between the lands of the abbot of Parco Luhde [Louth Park] and abutting upon the land of Robert Pormort towards the south and upon the land of the church of St Peter towards the north. All these lands lie in the vill of Salfletby [Saltfleetby], with free entries and exits with all liberties, easements and appurtenances in ways, paths, meadows, pastures and in all other places within the vill and outside. For twenty marks which Philip gave to William. To hold to Philip and his heirs and assigns from William and his heirs freely, in inheritance, fully, entirely and without any reservation, paying yearly to William and his heirs 3s 8d, namely 6d at Easter, 6d at Michaelmas, 10d at Pentecost, 11d at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and 11d at Martinmas for all services, suits, customs and exactions.
