Description

Folio: 318. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Richard, son of William de Salfletby [Saltfleetby], with the advice and consent of his brothers.

Second party: Andrew, son of Odo Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: One and a half acres of meadow and twenty 'falls' in the south meadows of Salfletby [Saltfleetby], which lie together between the land of Randulph Duppung on the east side and the land of Robert son of Stepy on the west side, whose limits abut upon the land of Alan Duppincg towards the north and as far as the moiety of Ha towards the south. To hold to Andrew and his heirs or assigns of Richard and his heirs freely and quietly in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Richard and his heirs 2d at four terms, namely a halfpenny at each of the feasts of Christmas, Easter, St Botolph and Michaelmas for all service, secular exaction and custom.
