Description

Folio: 315. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: John, son of Peter Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Ranulf de Freskeney [Friskney].

Place or subject: Five acres of meadow and one perch with appurtenances in the meadows of Salfletby [Saltfleetby], two acres of which lie between the land of Richard son of Matthew towards the east and the land of Gilbert Armry towards the west, and five perches east and west between the lands of the abbot of Parco Lude [Louth Park], one acre east, west, north and south between the lands of Amy Otyr, and one acre between the land of Amy Otyr towards the west and the land of Gilbert Pormorth towards the east. To hold of John and his heirs to Ranulf and his heirs freely, quietly, entirely and in right of inheritance without any reservation, paying yearly to John and his heirs one rose on the feast-day of St John the Baptist only.
