First party: Hawise, daughter of Robert son of Ailone, widow.
Second party: John, son of Odo Galle of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: One acre of land lying in the territory of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby] in the parish of St Clement, whose limits abut upon Grist and Hugfleth, and it lies between the land of the church of St Clement and the land of Asgar, and the third part of one acre of meadow lying in Kirnedaile. For 10s which John gave to Hawise. To hold to John and his heirs freely and quietly, absolutely and honourably, paying 2d yearly to Hawise and his heirs, namely 1d at the feast of St Botolph and 1d at Michaelmas for all earthly service and secular exaction.
