First party: Ranulf, son of Adam Pia [Pya] of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle.
Place or subject: Two acres of land and thirty 'falls' in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] with appurtenances, lying between the land of Philip Galle on the north side, and one selion lying next to Ranulf's pit on the south side, the sides of which abut towards the west upon the land of Robert son of William and is turned upon the land of Adam le Vasur [Vavasour]. For 20s which Philip gave to Ranulf in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely and quietly, in fee and inheritance, paying 3d yearly to the lord of the soke at the terms of the soke for all services, suits of courts and demands.
