Folio: 303v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.
First party: John, son of Wygoht, by the advice and consent of his brothers and heirs.
Second party: Walter, son of Odo Galle.
Place or subject: Three acres of meadow in Hodescroft. To hold of John and his heirs in fee and inheritance freely and quietly, paying yearly 4½d at the four terms, namely 1d at Christmas, 1d at Easter, 1d at the feast of St John the Baptist, and 1½d at the octave of Michaelmas. Those three acres of meadow lie between the land of Jordan de Brakinbere [Brackenborough] and Robert son of Seward.
