Folio: 246v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter A. Grant.
First party: William de Welletun, son of Alan de Welletun [Welton].
Second party: Richard, his brother.
Place or subject: The whole of William's land in Hundelby [Hundleby] which pertains to his inheritance there. For his homage and service. To hold freely and quietly from William and his heirs, paying thm annually certain spurs of 'Nicole' for all service pertaining to William, excepting foreign service.
County: [Lincolnshire].
Additional people: Witnesses: Walter de Bolebec; Geoffrey son of Richard; Reginald de Kinebele; Roger de Applingdene; Robert de Pesehale; William de Munby; Robert de Nesebit; Ranulf the clerk; and Geoffrey, son of Gefr' son of Richard.
This charter was given to Richard by William, his brother, in the hall of the bishop of Durem' [Durham] in the castle.
