Folio: 246. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter A. Agreement.
First party: Walter de Kantelupo [Cantilupe].
Second party: William de Roum' [Roumare].
Place or subject: If any damage accrues to William for the seisin of the land which he made over to Walter, namely of Brimat', Chillent', the land of Kamel, Atebere, Leia, Funteleia and Ackeleia, Walter will restore the whole of that damage and cost. Walter has placed in pledge the whole of his land of Normandy and England which he holds of William, until that damage and cost has been lawfully restored to him. If by chance Walter loses this land, unless William made seisin over to him, Walter and his heirs are to demand no exchange against William or his heirs.
