Place or subject: One toft in the vill of Riby which was of Eudo le Walays, and two bovates of land in the same vill, four acres of which lie in the cultivated field of Glengesberg on the east side; in Tungacre three acres; in the cultivated field of Sincheri on the east side three acres; in the cultivated field of Brainelg on the east side three acres; at Fuwel one acre; in the cultivated field of Holmberg on the east side three acres; in the cultivated field of Ribitoft on the east side three acres; in the cultivated field of Riskes on the east side four acres; at the way for Castre [Caistor] in the east cultivated field on the east side four acres; in the cultivated field of Staynhil on the east side three acres; in the cultivated field of Scalehyl on the east side three acres; in the cultivated field of Brakenhougate on the east side three acres; in the cultivated field of Brakenhouwelle on the east side three acres; with all appurtenances and easements within the vill and outside. To hold to Hawise and her heirs and assigns peacefully free and quit from all secular service and exaction. For this quitclaim Hawise gave Geoffrey eight marks of silver.
