First party: Gilbert de Beningwurth [Benniworth].
Second party: Ranulf, earl of Chester and Lincoln.
Place or subject: The homage and service of Geoffrey Russell from one bovate of land and a half which he held of Gilbert in Estrekales [East Keal] for 9s, to be paid yearly at the four terms of the year, namely Christmas, Easter, the feast of St Botolph and Michaelmas, doing foreign services as far as it pertains to that land. And the homage and service of Walter Russell from half a bovate of land which he held of Gilbert in Westrekales [West Keal] for 2s, to be paid to Gilbert yearly at those four terms of the year, and for one bushel of malt of barley at Christmas, doing foreign service as far as it pertains to that land. And the homage and service of the heirs of Henry Freman from one bovate of land which he held of Gilbert in West Keal, doing foreign service as far as it pertains to a fortieth part of one knight's fee. To hold to the earl and his heirs as entirely and well as Gilbert ever held them.
