Folio: 238. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter A. Quitclaim.
First party: Thomas Mansel.
Second party: Ranulf, earl of Chester.
Place or subject: One mark of silver from Reidebi [Raithby] which Robert de Lekeburn [Legbourne] was accustomed to pay yearly to Thomas for his tenement of Raithby. To hold to the earl and his heirs quietly in such a way that neither Robert de Lekeburn nor his heirs will pay anything to Thomas or his heirs from henceforth of that mark or his tenement of Raithby, but to the earl and his heirs. For this quitclaim the earl gave Thomas ten marks.
