Second party: The canons of Derham [West Dereham].
Place or subject: Four areas of land for digging turbary (bescas fodientes) in William's east marsh of Bolingbroc [Bolingbroke] to sustain their salt-pans. For the salvation of William's soul and all his ancestors and heirs in pure and perpetual alms. [To hold] free and quit to the canons from William and his heirs from all earthly service and secular exaction.
