Place or subject: William's men, clerks and knights, out of love for him and at his petition, have enclosed his yardland of Bolibroc [Bolingbroke]. William does not wish that his heirs claim to have this from them or their heirs for a custom, because they have done this out of love for him and by his petition, and they ought to do this with no custom to him and his heirs.
