Description

Folio: 231v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter A. Appointment of attorney.

First party: John, bishop of Lincoln [John Buckingham], Richard [fitz Alan], earl of Arundel, Robert de la Mare, John de Bukland [Buckland], John Charnels, Walter Power, Simon Symeon and John Neumarche.

Second party: John Cokeyn, Nicholas Grene, Roger de Faryngton, William de Horneby, parson of the church of Riblecestre [Ribchester], and John de Ipres.

Place or subject: The bishop and the others have attorned and put in their place John Cokeyn and the others to deliver full seisin to John, earl of Lancaster and Richemond [Richmond] [John of Gaunt], and Blanche, his wife of all those castles, manors, vills, honors, hundreds, fees and advowsons which the earl and Blanche have from their grant, just as more fully appears by a certain charter made to the earl and Blanche by them.
