Place or subject: Whereas there was a debate between the earl and Otto concerning breach of the assize of bread and ale by Otto's tenants in the vill of Chellesfeld [Chelsfield], in the end the debate was settled by a friendly agreement. The earl granted Otto and his heirs all the profits which could be paid from the tenant in Chellesfeld [Chelsfield] by reason of this breach. [Further details given].
