First party: Thomas Wlf of Dover, chaplain.
Second party: Edmund, son of Henry III [Edmund of Lancaster], and Blanche, queen of Navarre, his wife.
Place or subject: One plot of land with houses and all buildings upon it and its other appurtenances, lying within the liberty of Dover in the ward called Halleswarde, namely between the land of Absolon Lof towards the southwest and the land of John Coleman towards the northeast in width, and it heads to the royal street towards the northwest. To hold to Edmund and Blanche and their heirs or assigns freely, quietly and in right of inheritance forever, doing only the king's service, when it ought to be done, according to the custom of the port of Dover. For this grant Edmund and Blanche gave Thomas ten marks sterling.
