Place or subject: The king confirms the quitclaim which Aymer de Valence, earl of Pembroke, made at the king's request by his deed to Thomas, earl of Lancaster, the king's kinsman, concerning the manor of the New Temple, London, and all the lands, tenements and rents with appurtenances which were formerly of the Templars in the suburbs of London and in Middlesex, and which are of the fee of the earl of Lancaster as of the honor of Leicester. The king wishes and grants that the earl of Lancaster is to have and hold this manor and lands of the king and his heirs in the same form as he holds that honor, by the services due and accustomed without occasion or impediment of the king or his heirs, justices, escheators, sheriffs or other his bailiffs or ministers.
