Folios: 217v-218. Middlesex. Inspeximus of a gift, grant and confirmation of Roger de Meuland, bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, to Edmund, son of Henry III [Edmund of Lancaster], and Blanche his wife, queen of Navarre, dated the day of St Thomas the Martyr 1278.
First party: R dean, and the chapter of Lychisfeldie [Lichfield].
Second party: [unspecified].
Place or subject: One place of land which lies between Edmund's plot formerly of Peter de Sabaudia [Savoy] and the plot of Robert le Coupere in the street of Westminster near to the church called Wytechirche [White Church]. To hold to Edmund and Blanche and their heirs or assigns without opposition of the bishop well and in peace forever, doing to the chief lords of the fee the service due and accustomed.
