Folios: 196v-197. Gloucestershire. Grant.
First party: John de Monemuwe [Monmouth].
Second party: John, his son and heir.
Place or subject: The whole of the land which John the father had with Cecily, his wife, which pertained to her from the inheritance of Walter Waleran, her father, with all appurtenances, namely in lands, rents, forests, bailiwicks, wards, escheats, both in dowers and in all other things, which could descend in that inheritance, without any reservation. He has also granted to his son the whole manor of Tyberinton [Tibberton] with appurtenances. In such a way that, if the same manor is not worth £30, anything which is lacking John the father will make up in Huandefeld. He has also granted to his son 100s worth of land in Huandefeld, of which lands, together with the inheritance of his wife, John the son, in the presence of his father and with his father's assent and will, endowed Maud, his wife, daughter of Earl David, when he married her, and John the father wishes that these lands are to remain to Maud, his wife. The heirs which issue from John and Maud are to be the heirs of John the father.
