Description

Folio: 188v. Wiltshire. Grant.

First party: Hugh de Punchardon, with the assent and will of Margaret, his wife.

Second party: William Briwer' [Brewer].

Place or subject: The whole of Hugh's land of Milleford [Milford] with all appurtenances in plain, wood, meadows, waters, pastures and all things pertaining to it, for his homage and service, and for sixty marks which he gave to Hugh, namely forty marks to make Emma and Sarah, sisters of his wife, nuns at Pollesslehe [Polsloe], and twenty marks to his use and that of Margaret, his wife. To hold of Hugh and his heirs to William and his heirs in right of inheritance by the service of a third part of one knight's fee.
