Place or subject: The gift and grant which Hugh de Punchardon, knight, made by the assent and will of Margaret, his wife, concerning his land of Milleford [Milford], which is of Oliver's fee, namely that he is to hold it with all appurtenances freely, quietly, peacefully and honourably from Hugh and his heirs to William and his heirs in right of inheritance, for his homage and service and for sixty marks which he gave to him, namely forty marks to make Emma and Sarah, sisters of his wife, nuns at Pollesslegh [Polsloe], and twenty marks to his use and that of his wife, and by the service of a third part of one knight's fee.
