Place or subject: Having inspected the agreement completed between the abbot and convent on the one part and Hugh de St Martin, knight, and Reginald, chaplain of the chapel of Standene [Standen], on the other, before the prior of Dunnestapl' [Dunstable] and his fellow judges appointed by authority of Pope Gregory in the octave of St John the Baptist, 1234, at Dunstable in the conventual church, approving and ratifying it, the abbot and convent have confirmed and corroborated it.
