Second party: Hawise de London and Payn, her son and heir.
Place or subject: Since by John's charter he quitclaimed to Hawise de London and Payn, her son and heir, with the assent and good will of Albreda, John's wife, all his right and claim in the manor of Standene [Standen] and Ochulle [Oakhill], which was once of Hugh de St Martin, father of Albreda, John binds himself to Hawise and Payn, under the pain of 100 marks payable to the fabric fund of St Edward, Westminster, by distraint of the king, if it can be proved for certain that they are ever for any reason impleaded by John or Albreda, or anyone in their name, concerning this manor contrary to the charter they have concerning this.
