First party: William Briwar' [Brewer].
Second party: William de Ralegh [Raleigh].
Place or subject: The whole land with appurtenances which Walter de Raleg', uncle of William de Raleg', held in Radewoiche, Bikewothe, la Fenne and Bredewic. Whereupon a plea was [summoned] between them in court, namely that William Brewer quitclaimed this land to William de Raleg'. For this quitclaim and for fifteen marks of silver, which William Brewer gave to William de Raleg, the latter William gave the whole of that land with appurtenances to William Brewer. To hold to William Brewer and his heirs freely, quietly and in inheritance of William de Raleg' and his heirs, namely the land of Radewichi, Bikeworthe and la Fenne, by the service of a third part of one knight's fee, and the land of Bredewic by the service of a third part of one knight's fee, and 5s a year at Michaelmas for all service. In addition, he granted to William Brewer the whole land of Neuton and Wecestane with appurtenances, which land Ralph de Ese gave to him in exchange for five farthinglands in Eseo, to hold to William Briwar and his heirs of William de Raleg' and his heirs by the service of half a knight's fee for all service.
