Folios: 177-177v. Hampshire. Settlement of a dispute.
First party: Ralph Harengod.
Second party: Patrick de Chavorc' [Chaworth].
Place or subject: Whereas Ralph Harengod had drawn Patrick de Chavorc' into a plea before the justices of the Bench concerning the warren of Langestoke [Longstock], the cause moved between them was settled by an amicable agreement in this form: the whole of their land of Longstock, excepting the thicket of Haseldune [Hazeldown], is to remain to them and their heirs commonly in the warren. If Ralph or his heirs move a beast or bird in the fields and drive it into the thicket, they ought to call back their dogs as quickly as possible.
County: [Hampshire].
Additional people: Witnesses: Richard, son of the knight of Wollop [Wallop]; Robert de la Dune; William Galrugg; Ralph Goer; William Fugel; Thomas de Lecford [Leckford]; and Walter Oyldebuf.
