First party: Margery de Feritate.
Second party: Isabel, abbess of St Mary, Winchester, and the convent there.
Place or subject: Agreement between Margery and Isabel about the services and customs which Margery was exacting from the abbess and convent, namely from corn, cheese, hens and eggs, and from the service of ploughs, harvests and loading of corn, which customs and services Margery claimed as appurtenant to her hundred of Sumburne [King's Somborne] from the free tenement of the same abbess and convent in Lacford [Leckford], and concerning which there was a dispute between them, namely that Margery, for God and for the souls of William, her father, William, her brother, and all her ancestors, quitclaimed for herself and his heirs to the abbess and convent and their successors the whole right and claim she had in those services and customs and all other services and customs pertaining to that hundred from the same vill forever, saving to Margery and her heirs the suit which the men of the same abbess and convent made from that vill previously at the hundred, just as they are accustomed and ought to do that, with all those things which pertain to that suit. For this quitclaim the abbess gave to Margery twelve marks of silver.
