Place or subject: The king has granted that Patrick can enclose with a ditch and hedge his two woods of Weston, one of which is called la Heydon and the other Haselmangrave with a lawn adjacent, which with the same lawn contains in total seventy acres by the perch of 16½ feet, just as the king has heard by an inquisition which he caused to be made by Robert Waleraund [Walerand]. In such a way that Patrick and his heirs can hold those woods enclosed and make a park thereof at their will without trouble and impediment of the king and his heirs, justices, foresters, verderers and all other bailiffs and ministers of the forest.
